Using BBDW Incremental Load

Hi fellow HE-PAG Members,


We have some questions for anyone that has implemented (or tried out) 'Incremental load' for the delivered Blackbaud Data Warehouse (BBDW) refresh. This is the process that applies only changes from the source system to BBDW that have occurred since the last data refresh.

• What has your experience been with the data quality and integrity after running incremental loads? Have the customers reported issues? If so, with what data?
• Do you run full loads occasionally to ensure your data is synced? If so, how often do you run incremental versus full loads?
• What are the average execution wall times for an incremental load versus a full load?  How much 'time' do you really save as a %?
