Error Overflow

Hello!


Just this week I've been getting this annoying pop up when trying to do the following things:


globally adding registrants to an event


importing


going into security for a group and clicking on print preview so I can see all settings for that security group


I did a quick search on Knowledge base and found this article but I'd rather not have to reset my user options


Anyone ever have this issue?


Besides not being able to see the security group settings, the imports and global adds did work, it was just strange that this pop up started out of the blue


I'm on RE 7.93 FYI - in case that makes a difference

I'm also on 7.93.  Haven't gotten that pop up but several months ago started getting one when ever I went to Admin / Config or running Exports saying "system level security restricts me from accessing some records..." No one changed any settings. I have rights to all. Have not noticed that any records have been excluded.


It can be annoying.

I've received this message when I sometimes run a query and have the query window open on my second monitor and not my primary monitor.  Just a thought if you recently received a second monitor. 


This sounds bigger than my issues as I do all of those things, but only get the Overflow error with merging or refreshing merged queries.  Sometimes when running a dynamic query.

JoAnn - I'm with you when technology all of a sudden does something 'new' when you haven't changed anything, to your knowledge, it is so frustrating!


Denise - when I was researching the error message all I saw was the merge query issue you mentioned. I've had two monitors all the time I've been here so that isn't it, plus I wasn't doing anything with queries.


It is just an annoyance at this point but it is irritating as I have no idea why it started....hmmmmmm

I have no real suggestions for this, but as misery loves company, I will chime in that I also get some strange error messages from RE at the oddest times.  One happens as I'm logging off for the day, and it tells me that I basically have no rights to be logging off.  One of my favorite IT people calls these things "features."
