Crystal vs Sky Reporting

Has anyone started rewrtining their Crystal Reports in Sky Reporting?  How robust is Sky?  Can you get the same functionality that Crytal allows?


Blackbaud does not support Crystal and we all need to plan on moving over years of Crystal Reports over.

Blackboard does not support Crystal??


Do you mean they changed the Crystal support to be non-existent? They do still "support" crystal in that database view still connects to crystal reports though, right?

Yes, they still allow one to run Crystal but they no longer have Helpdesk Support regarding fixing reports, etc.

I'm not aware of anyone (end users) actually using SKY yet.

I don't think that SKY will ever meet our needs because it is specific to RE and we use Crystal to tie our data in RE to related records in our ticketing system.  Forcing us to move to hosted/NXT will probably force us to drop RE.
