Hello,


We are running our duplicate record finder in raiser's edge.  Would I want to exclude merging the soft credits? And if so, why?

    Do you want all the SC to be on the single record you will have in RE? Yes, then include them in the merge.


    Only negative I can think of would be if both records were somehow already SC for the same gift, you could end up with double listing. Not likely to happen.


    I may not be thinking clearly this a.m. but I don't know why you would exclude them.
