Prospect/Search Module

We recently obtained the Prospect/Search module. We noticed that the Total Given Amount listed within that tab includes write-off pledges. I know that you can check the box "use balance instead of gift amount" but this amount wouldn't be correct either. Does anyone know a solution around this? We find it very disappointing that this feature is very flawed.

Total Given is configurable. Click on the Total Given link to select which Gift Types to include.
