Multicenters - how do we know who's asked to be removed from a multicenter?

Options

Many of our chapter offices are set up as multi-centers. Herer's the scenario: an email is sent from a multicenter and the user clicks on the link: http://action.sierraclub.org/site/CO -- below is a link for our North Star Chapter multicenter:

http://action.sierraclub.org/site/CO?i=V0yDM29iOV7n-M0cwj8hBuGYI_hWep22&cid=2341

Question: If I click on the button to remove my email address from that center then I'll no longer from them at all. I understand that. What I don't understand is how we (as convio admins) can see who the people are that are removing themselves - how do we report on this. And second, as a user, how do I get added back to a multicenter if I accidently clicked on that button, and in fact do want to continue getting their newsletters.

Some insight on how this works would help. I don't see anything in the profile records that tells us any info about this. The closest I can come to for a report is the unsubscribe details report within an email campaign. This is urgent for us to understand a little more how this works.

  • Hi Kelly,

If you're still looking for an answer to this, one way to see who is opting out of your center is to run the center members report.  (Instructions can be found here: http://help.convio.net/site/PageServer?pagename=Admin_Center_Members_Report.)  Make sure to include the "Center Email Opt-In Status" and "Center Email Opt-Out Date" columns in your report.  The report will give you a spreadsheet of all the constituents in your center.  You can sort by opt-in/out status and date to see who has been opting out and when.

If you've figured out a better way of reporting on this, let me know!

Thank Clara! I'll give it a try and let you know if I have any other questions.
