Marketing Effort Dynamic Table Cleanup

Options
Friends,

I'm working on trying to reduce the number of tables in our database.  I've done pretty good so far, having deleted nearly 90,000 tables ... old batch control tables, exception tables, constituency refresh tables (we actually run that process every 5 minutes), etc...

Now I'm looking at marketing effort tables and I'm really not sure what's okay to clean up here...

So right now I have 7,502 tables referenced in BUSINESSPROCESSOUTPUT where TABLEKEY=EFFORTEXCLUSIONS and 7393 where TABLKEY=PREACTIVATION, and another 20,292 tables where TABLKEY=GUID and the tablename like MKTSEGMENTATIONEXPORT%

Does anyone know exactly what these tables drive, if anything?  For example, I know the tables where TABLKEY=CONTROL drive batch control reports.  If I delete the business process output for any b atch with a batch control report, it seems like the only consequence is that I can no longer get a batch control report.

Thanks for your input!

[UPDATE] I did figure that I can pretty safely delete the MKTSEGMENTATIONEXPORT rows older than a year or so (TBD), I'm a little more concerned about the other items though...
