Tracking future asks

How does your organization track future ask amounts with alerts? I was thinking of using the proposals but want to consider the pros and cons. Let me know your experience.

We repurposed some fields on Bio 2 to track ask date / ask amount


I think they used to be Religion and Birthdate


In any case our gift officers put in an ask date (which is usually a renewal date) and and ask amount and monthly I use a Crystal Report with this information for the team to review status

This is exactly what Proposals are made for.  Defiinitely the way to go.
