Full customization of sustaining gift forms?

I am looking into the possibility of using a sustaining gift form to conduct a campaign in which a constituent can pay $1 immediately and then $10/month for a year after that. The closest I can seem to come is to do a monthly $10 gift with a $1 add gift, but this means their first payment is $11 instead of $10. Our whole campaign is hinged on the "only $1 now" component. Any thoughts/ideas?
