I had a event registrant that provided her work address. The work address already existed in RE. I created a new constituent, since she was not already in RE, and assumed it would just link to her workplace. When I went to process the batch, the constituent was her work, instead of her. Can anyone tell me how that happened and what I can do to fix this?

I believe it occured as she registered as an organization on your online express form, therefore the payment was from the organization. You can simply change the constituent prior to commiting the batch, if indeed the payment was from the individual.  If you've already commited the batch it becomes a much more complex situation.
