A/B Donation Page Testing

Options

We're looking to test different versions of our donation pages in the hopes of optimizing them to better appeal to our donors.  To do this, we've created a copy of our donation page with the modifications made, and we'd like about a 50/50 display of the standard vs. the treated version when visitors click our donation link.  A similar thread for CMS gave the solution of using embedded pages, but donation forms can't be embedded to allow that solution in this case.  We're thinking that perhaps we can run this type of test by using random URL generation in Javascript but hoping that someone in the community might already have implemented something along these lines to give us a jump start rather than starting from scratch - or if someone from Convio has a good suggestion on how we can accomplish this.

Any assistance or advice would be much appreciated.
