Off Line Donation Entry

How do I enter an off line donation?  The Community Posts indicate that I should use the Gift Entry selection under the Transaction Drop Down.  I do not have a Gift Entry option on my console.  Jim.

Jim - Thanks for posting the question.  In order to enter an offline gift you'll want to make sure that you have the donation form enabled to accept both online and offline gifts.  You can check that status on step one of the process navigator for a donation form (see attached screen shot for details).  Once you know that specific form is enabled you'll then be able to process an offline gift. One thing to consider is that if the offline gift is being given but you do not have a way to capture an email address you won't have a valid constituent record to tie that donation to (or send a thank you email) so be sure that you capture the email address for that constituent.  If you have additional questions on setting up the offline gifts this detailed article on the Convio help center has more information:
