OnEx Event Participant Info When Paying with a Company Credit Card

We're trying to roll out online payments for the various events we run through OnEx Events, but things are getting complicated.


Basically when someone pays for themselves to go on their own card it seems straight forward, but as soon as it's someone else paying then that creates a second person and the information starts going in some very unintuitive places. Case in point: as a test I tried registering a place for a colleague on my card. On the Constituent Linking window there was a constituent record for me, an Organisational record for the company, but nothing for her (I had to switch to the Transaction Information page to actually see her name and that she was actually coming).


And what I really want to do is create a report that on one line captures the attendee's name, 'my' name and the organisation's name, but the options in Query look distinctly limited (I'm about to check out the Export module, but am not optimistic). And then trying to correctly line up the company and the attendee, and have the attendee as a constituent rather than just s guest all feels like lots of steps in the process.


Anyone got any ideas on improving this, on doing the report/query/export, or useful resources. The ones RE provide are a bit basic unless all you want to do is have someone register themselves with their own credit card?
