How to see how many constituents have a certain field

I am new and struggling-I apologize if this question is ridiculously simple.

I have about 1900 individuals in my constituent database (not even really sure because I don't know how to determine how many I have).

I need to know how many are a certain job type (like Directors of Nursing, for example). When we imported our house database into Convio we moved the info over (Last, First, Title, etc.) but now I don't know how to export them by title.

Can anyone assist me?
