I don't know about all of you, but when I was working for at a nonprofit, the people who managed fundraising and the people who managed our website were on two different teams! This meant that when we (fundraising) needed to have a new event, form, etc. added to the website, we had to be able to translate our needs to a non-fundraiser. We got good at communicating over the years, but not without a lot of practice and a few missteps.
