How do I UN-CREDIT Soft Credits?

does anyone know how to uncredit soft credit gifts. these were inadvertently credited to a spouse record, only to find out it was NOT the spouse. Same name, different person.

I've broken the relationship link already, but now stuck with all these soft credit gifts that don't belong?

you go to the gift in question - go to the soft credits tab. Click on the row and highlight it - then delete it. Unfortunately you will have to do this for all gifts individually on the record.
