How to find active pledges

Hello!


Not sure why I'm struggling getting this query and export to work correctly but I'm trying to pull some data on our active monthly pledge donors


I currently am using an individual query type and summary of gifts (Gift Total Number of Gifts greater than or equal to 1) with the following criteria:

• Gift date greater than or equal to 7/1/14
• AND Gift amount greater than or equal to $0.01
• AND Gift status equals Active
• AND Gift Type equals Pledge
• AND Gift Subtype equals Individual Giving
• AND Gift Installment Frequency does not equal Single Installment
• AND Gift Installments Ending on greater than or equal to 6/1/17

I'm combing this with a gift export and here is where I think I'm getting hung up - though it could also be my query criteria


In the criteria for the export I'm including all pledges since 7/1/14


One thing it is doing is giving me single installment frequency pledges as there is not a way to exclude those from the export criteria


And I cannot find the Gift Installments Ending 'field' in the gift export which I think is going to be the easiest way for me to see if the pledge is still active as even paid pledges have an active status


Help!  Please!

I think the issue lies with using an individual query, as the export is giving you all pledges for anyone who has at least one pledge that fits the query criteria. Have you tried using a gift query instead?

Not sure I know exactly what you're looking for but... if I were looking for active pledges I would  include a critieria for Pledge balance greater than $0. 


I believe the gift installment ending field you are looking for is Gifts > Last Installment/Payment Date Due.


If you're doing an "individual" query when you take it to Export, you will get other gifts the individual has made unless you get all the export query set up correctly. Also check for gift installment frequency of "annual" as that may have been selected instead of Single Installment (I know they've been used interchangeably at time for single year gifts here.)

Use a gift query instead - DUH!


Thanks that fixed my problem 


I ended up doing that and then used pledge balance to see which were still active as I could not follow where in the export (export in export not export in query) the Last Installment/Payment Due Date was located
