Any ideas on how I can remove a ticket type once I've created it?

I haven't been able to find an option for removing a ticket type once I've created it. Can anyone help me out with that?

  • Pretty sure you can't do it.  I've never found a way anyway, and I've looked pretty hard

    Your best bet will be to just hide it by giving it an Administrator security category.  It's still there, just no one will ever see it because no one can look at end-user pages and still be in the logged into Administrator category since, by definition, you CAN'T be logged in as a user if you have an Administrator account.

  • You can also set an inventory limit of zero so that even admins can't register anyone for that ticket type. Just make sure that the limit per order is set to "No Limit" as well.

  • There is a way to do this.  Go to your event and select Option 6. "Configure Ticket Types".  Click "Edit" on the ticket that you want to remove, and the "Related Actions --> Close Registration" option will appear underneath the numbered steps in your right control window.

    If you want to be doubly-safe that the ticket is never used, you can also give the ticket a Promotion Code of something that will never be given out.
