Email group data -- comparing email group summary information

Options
Hi all,

We're currently trying to review where most of our subscribers live. We have lists segmented by county and states and I can view each group list summary data individually but can't see to find how to pull multiple summary data. For example, we have multiple New York group lists and multiple California group lists. I'd love to see the total members of all new york lists together vs. all california group members.

Thanks!

Have you tried to create a query with these groups and then do a mail merge?   Then you could pull the records into Excel.

Thanks Alicia--I pulled these via query which did the trick! slow going but worked!

  • I though there must be something in Excel to do this, and found PowerMap. Do you have Excel 2013 or later? It's included.

I did have to show it using File > Options (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/I-dont-see-the-Power-Map-button-in-Excel-db03bf67-d2b3-42a7-adf1-9c38f024a8ce)

If you need to download it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=38395

I did an export of all of my constituents: city, state, zip, and country.

    Pretty neat!

Pretty cool - I'll have to try this myself.  That would look great in a board report.  :)

  • I do have a newer version of Excel so thank you for pointing me to this---PowerMap is amazing and I can already think of multiple ways and reasons to utlize this.
