I'm able to add groups from campaign / audience but not for individual messages?

Some of my chapters want to be able to upload a list of names to send an email blast to. It seems that this capability exists in audience (which will apply to all messages in a campaign) but not within an individual message / target list. Is this correct?

That is correct...the audience that the upload creates a group that is added to each message in that campaign. Now, the chapters can remove that Group from the message in the Target Audience each time.

When uploading to an Audience, you are uploading to a group that is stored in Constituent 360 > Groups. It is faster to upload the constituent rather than entering them manually. The only difference is that when entering the constituents manually, your chapters can input Mailing Address.  When uploading, they only enter Name and Address.

They can always go to Constituent 360 > Groups and look up the Audience Group > Edit the Members to add the mailing address.
