Understanding the Designated Giving Upload Fields

Name - this name identifies the designee in your administrative list, but will not be shown to donors (for example, Biology Dept)

Public_name - this name will be shown to donors; the public name can be the same as the Administrative Name or can be different. For example, the public name for the Biology Dept designee could be the name of a specific fund that has been set up to benefit that department such as the "J.J. Long Memorial Fund."

Description - description of designated fund

Status - is the designated fund  active or archived

Designation_type_id - same field as "Designee ID

Accounting_code - the accounting code will be used for reporting purposes only.

Email_notification - address (or addresses) of those to notify when gifts of a certain threshold

Threshold - $ amount of gift for which an email notification should be generated

Group_id - ID of the group for which to contain the givers of a certain threshold and above

Interest_id - ID of the Interest Category from the drop - down menu if you would like to automatically flag those donors who give to this designee with an Interest.

Type_name - type of group

Admin_category - the admin security category
