We have recently re-done our Tribute process here at the University of Georgia. We did like some of the functionality of the OOB tribute process but we had to "enhance" it to meet our needs. We wanted the system to check nightly all transactions to designations marked as tribute funds (an designation attribute set when the fund is established) to prompt our stewardship team to review the transaction if the tribute was not attached. In addition, we have a nightly process to ensure letters are on all tributes to ensure all transactions go through the tribute process correctly. We have been testing the process for the last three months and have went live with it July 1.
