Do you have the Tribute module? We track everything in the Tribute module, then run tribute notification letters after each gift batch.

Like others, we run our Tributes through the Module.  The letters can get tricky at times, and when they do, I have to call Support.  Depending on the timing, we usually just send a letter, but during the Holidays, we tend to switch over to a card.  The cards are handwritten.
