reactive "removed" records -- why does this require "support"?

I do not understand the raionale behind this being something that only "Support" can do.


Granted, you wouldn't want just any user of the system undeleting records... But surely a sufficiently technically savvy person on site should be capable of determining if a record should be reactived and have the "awesome power" of doing so themselves?


This seems like a glaringly missing feature.
