Planning Events in Online Express: Parking Lot Questions from 5/11/2017

If you haven't attended one of our Online Express 'Getting Started' webinars (why not?!), whenever I get a question that I can't address during the live call, I create a "parking lot" list that I will carry over into the Community. Today we had several questions that I wasn't able to address, so below is a mix of questions and answers. Enjoy!


Question"Do you have an example of what a free event confirmation email looks like?"
AnswerKeep in mind Thank You emails can be customized to the event by using images and word merge fields to help personalize your Thank You notes! Similar to the “Thank You” example for a paid ticket the Thank you will display the “Price” (as defined on the “Extras” tab under the “Display Texts for free prices”)

Question: "How can I enter in all guest information is one price allows for 10 people to attend?/Can an individual who buys a table enter all 10 of their guests at once?"
Answer: The number of registrants and/or guests that are associated with a particular ticket type is dictated on the “Get Started” page under the “Registrant” column. In the example shown here, the “Eagle Sponsor” would allow 5 registrants. Once a user selected this type they would see the all registrant fields listed 5 times to gather information for each of the 5 individuals attending.
