When making the transition from RE to RE NXT, it was my understanding that email addresses not already in RE NXT could be imported directly to Online Express without needing to create a Constituent Record. Is this possible? How is it done?

Thanks for your question- I hope I can assist. Unfortunately, Online Express email is based off of Raiser's Edge queries; every email send from Online Express pulls from an RE query, so you must have a constituent record created in order to send an email. 


You can import email addresses into RE; however, they must live on a constituent record. Here is a great resource on how to import constituent data into RE.
