How to create multiple donation options on a donation form

I am working on making a donation form for an upcoming raffle we are having. We are going to let people choose which prize they want to enter their name for, and we have four prizes. Rather than create 20 different donation options (levels for each prize) on the page, I'd like to have it more organized, such as the donor being able to chose from a drop down menu which raffle they'd like to enter and then have the donation amounts, which will be the same for each prize, come up. Is there a way to do something like this?

    Yes, you can absolutely add what we would call a "custom field" on your donation form.  It sounds like the kind of custom field you need is a drop-down list.

    To get you started, I've created a custom field for you in your instance of Convio called "Raffle Prize Choices".  Here's how you would add this field to any donation form you're working on:

    1. Go to Fundraising > Donation Mangement in your Convio Admin tools
    2. Click to "Manage" the donation campaign that you're working on
    3. Find the donation form you'd like to add this field to from the list of forms for your campaign and click "Edit"
    4. In the left-hand process navigator, go to step #3, "Design Donor Screens"
    5. Click the "Edit" link for the "Donation Form" screen
    6. You now should see a list of elements to select from at the top of your screen.  Scroll down on the left side of the selector until you get to the bottom of the list.  Here you'll see a section called "Custom" and a data element called "Raffle Prize Choices"
    7. Highlight "Raffle Prize Choices" and click the Add button to add it to the fields on your donation form
    8. You may need to change the order of this field on your form using the up and down arrows on the right
    9. Once you have the field where you think you want it, select it on the right side of your screen and click the "Save Order and Edit Selected" button
    10. You'll now edit how the prizes are listed and presented to your constituents

    You don't yet have access to creating custom fields yourself to add to your donation forms, but this is absolutely something you can do yourself in the future.  This is an administrative feature that you have access to once you have full access to managing your Cons360 database (including import/export access).  If you'd like to have full access to managing your Cons360 database, you might want to read this thread for all the details.
