OLX Event Registration Issue

Has anyone found a way to resolve registrants who come through the online express event registration form as a guest? For our Reunion event I have our Friday options (Luncheon, Reception, Class Dinners) embedded as free units under the same umbrella event. When alumni are completing the event registration form if they are registering for more than one event they will come through linked appropriately to the first event i.e. Luncheon and then as their own guests for the Reception and Class Dinner events. This is causing issues for me when I attempt to export the guests as they are duplicates of the main registrant. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
