Personal Fundraising Greeting Page Issue

Options

I'm building a personal fundraising campaign and at the stage where I'm customizing the greeting page.  However, for some reason the "Find a Fund" and "Create a Fund" links are showing up above my copy.  I don't see them in the HTML or Source views, and therefore can't move them to another location on the page.

Anybody know how to fix this?

  • Hi Andrew,

Since the Greeting Page is a product page that is generated based off of the product template, there is not a way to remove those links from the Greeting Page.

2 different solutions to this issue:

    1) You could create images for each of these links and when you are editing the Greeting Page you can upload an image for each of these links which would replace the text links.  This solution will still have the links on the page but at least you could blend these links into the page by making the links more attractive (ie:  styling the images that you use for the links so that they look good on the page).

    2) Some clients will actually create a PageBuilder page where they can take exact control over the content that is on the page including creating links that send visitors to the find a fund page and the create a fund page.  Once you've created this pagebuilder page you can then use that page as the main page for people to go and look at, and so you are skipping the greeting page all together.  If you do go this route, you'll want to use the WYSIWYG Links drop down to place links that allow people to go and "find a fund" or "create a fund" -- you can find these links by using the links drop down, select "personal fundraising campaign", then click on "Options" next to the campaign you wish to create the links for, and then in the pop up window, you can select the find a fund or create a fund pages for the link you are creating.

Feel free to update this post if you have further questions as you tackle this issue.

    hope this is helpful,

    Adam
