We're putting together a blog for next week that focuses on the 'Add to RE' button in Online Express and want to inlcude your tips, tricks and workarounds. We'll take those and turn them into an AMAZING post.

    I was just thinking about how to best use that information after the appeal is added to RE. What is the best way to report on it when it has nothing to do with a gift? It would be great if there were a way to export just the  number of appeals that were added to a record during the course of a FY. Even if each appeal doesn't result in receiving a gift. How do we easily determine the number of emails sent to a constituent each FY? Am I missing how to do this? We send emails for many different reasons and a lot of them aren't asking for a gift. It would ideal to also be able to put actions and events on records from the OLX email.


    After the appeal is added from the OLX email I also go in and rename the appeal and put more information on the record.

     

  • For, OLX, don't forget that you can copy e-mails that worked well in the past & make tweaks instead of starting from scratch each year.

    In addition, for informational e-mails, we use the list of users who clicked as a prospect list for our major gift officers or planned gift officers depending on the newsletter content!
