Batch Default Date and Scanning Appeas

Hey all.


We use BBDM to create our appeals along with finder numbers which become the Bar Code for scanning purposes. It has been noticed that when a scannable appeal is scanned into a batch the default date is overwritten with the current day's date.  So if the batch default date is set as April 1, 2017 and you have a scannable appeal the gift date will change to April 12, 2017.  Unfortunately our data entry people are not double checking their work before committing the batches.  So what ends up happening is that gift records are created for scannable appeals with an incorrect gift date.


This is something that needs to be corrected Blackbaud.
