NXT analyze fundraising issue

Options
If you want to print the reports from the NXt analyze the only option is to convert them to a PDF. When you do this though the graphs sometimes are split bwtween two pages.... So unless you have a special adobe product you cant really do anything with the graphs, in terms or sharing the information with others.

  • I don't have any direct experience with NXT, but in general, one workaround for this type of problem would be to take a screen clipping and throw that into a word document.

This quote from a CNet article provides the gist for Windows and for OS X:
To open the [Snipping] program [in Windows], click the Start button, select All Programs, followed by Accessories, and select the Snipping tool from the list. The Snipping tool lets you take a screenshot of a specific area of the screen (similar to the OS X command with the Command, Shift, and number 4 keys). Open the program, click New, select the area of the screen you would like to capture, and then click Save.

And yes, it would be practicle to provide an easy, printable version of reports in NXT. Hopefully someone who has more experience than me can help out.
  • My understanding is that BB is developing NXT Analyze reports to be used via a device, not printed on paper.  What options exist to create exports or even pdfs are largely due to requests from Users.  Hopefully, things will change in the future, but Ryan's suggestion of using the Snipping Tool is probably your best bet right now.

You can either Snip the entire window, or select what you want to see.  You could even use another window to create a sort of custom label or header/footer for your report, arrange your windows, snip the image, and save as an image (png, jpg, gif).  Use the image files or paste them into a word document and print as a pdf.  It will be cumbersome, but if you think through a good process that might be time-consuming but fairly straightforward, it might not be too bad.

Good luck!  And search the NXT Idea Bank for things like "print" and "export" to find and vote for the plethora of ideas on this topic.
