Data Health Center and submitting files to address finder

Options
Are there any users in a non-hosted environment who are unable to upload files for address finder/NCOA. We keep getting this error message:
Unable to upload AddressFinder request file: Unable to connect to host; A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 216.235.192.143.21.

This issue began when we were working on RE 7.93. We were told all we needed to do was upgrade to the latest version.

We are now on 7.96 and still having the same problem.

Help!

Tracy, I suggest you contact Blackbaud. We too just recently upgraded to 7.96 and I had the same error message the first time I tried to run the NCOA update. It took two chats and finally a phone call to get mine straightened out. Good luck!

  • I am having the exact same issues.

  • I'm getting a little bit different error, but just figured it out.  I was trying to authenticate within Data Health Center.  And I kept getting this error message:
    Testing FTP Connectivity...
    Connecting to sftp://desftp1.blackbaud.com..
    ERROR
Could not load file or assembly 'Rebex.Sftp, Version=3.0.5855.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=1c4638788972655d' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

To get this message, I went to Data Health Center --> Data Health Center Diagnostices --> Click Test FTP Connectivity and click Run.

The fix that worked for me is this KB Solution:
    https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/43272

However, this fix did not work for a co-worker of mine.  :(

I also found out that the file uploader for the AddressFinder hasn't been working the last few times my co-worker has done this, so she ftp'ed a file in, but the good news is, she could still process it within Data Health Center instead of trying to figure out how to import in the changes.

    Hope this helps someone.
  • One more note:  I took the files from the server and put them on my machine.
