Donor Opt In (Interest) Report

Options
Hello everyone. A query for you all...

I would like to know if it is possible to differentiate the Donors that opted into a particular campaign-specific interest (our organization has many campaigns/TRs).

I can pull a report that shows me all group members – but I cannot tell who opted in during registration (aka as an event participant), and who opted in as a donor on the donor form (the group/interest is the same, and available on both the reg form and donor form).  Of course, I can see this data on an individual basis by pulling up a donor/constituent record and drilling into their interactions. Once there, the interaction will also include whether the user opted into the event-specific interest (and how - i.e. via donation form).

I’m unsure whether this is even possible. I tried different approaches (interaction and transaction-based reports).

Thoughts?

Thank you,

David

    Hi David,

Have you looked into using Query instead of Reports? In Query you can pull in group clauses, interaction clauses, and under the Field Type System you can find the Origin Application Type. You can then export the data using Mail Merge.
