Basic default options on Personal Fundraising pages

Options

We are implementing Personal Fundraising in a limited manner.

An issue that has popped up is that some champions are neglecting to put their name on their fund pages.

Is there a way to set a default line of HTML at the top of each fund that says "Champion: (name of person)" that will aid in searches?

Can we have a default picture that goes in if a Champion doesn't upload one for his/herself?

  • You could insert a line of HTML with the champion's name like you described in the page wrapper. Add something like the following above the page body:

    ]x::

    <p>Champion: ] ]</p>

    ::]]

    To set the default photo, edit the Personal Fundraising campaign, go to Configure Pages, and select Default Fund Page. In the right column, under "Upload a Photo" you can upload an image or select an existing one from the Image Library.

    Thanks!

    I had been using the default wrapper. I duplicated that wrapper, added the line, published it and now I can't select the new wrapper from the list of available wrappers for override. This happens to me often, and I can't figure out why. :-( And yes, it's in the same security category as the default.

    Have you tried logging out and logging back in?

    Thank you. That did it. I often forget which tire needs to be kicked when to get the admin side to behave. ;-)
