Attaching PDF to eReceipt

Hello Everyone,


Does anyone know of a way to attach a PDF to the eReceipts? When a constituent registers for an event, we typically send them a copy of their receipt along with their confirmation letter. Is there anyway to do this in one email or will we have to continue to send them out in seperate emails?

    In the US the email itself can count as a receipt - provided that whatever system you are using to send the confirmation email can include the necessary information including whether benefits are being given - there should be no need to attach a .pdf. (if you are in Canada and need to issue a receipt # then that may be a different story).

    You can set-up a mail merge confirmation letter with ereceipt. Our ereceipt is set-up as letter on top and receipt at the bottom. But if your confirmation letter takes whole page, you can set-up ereceipt on a second page to print as two pages or print on both sides of a page.

    Thank you. Our event confirmation letter is not a merge file. It is a generic confirmation letter that is the same for all registrants. We would like to be able to send the receipt along with the confirmation letter in one email.

    You haven't told us what software you are using to send the e-receipts.

    I have created an e-receipt with an attached pdf which shows gift amount, benefit, benefit amount and total eligible receipt as required by CRA in Canada.

    You haven't told us what software you are using to send the e-receipts.

    We are sending the eReceipts out of RE.

    Why do you send ereceipts outside of RE? It is pretty straightforward to do ereceipts through RE. This way you can set-up confirmation letter as a merge document and as you said it is same letter it makes it even simpler.
