Hello all!

My co-worker and I are returning users to RE(web based version) after 12 years of working in an Access based system where lists and reports were whatever you could dream up. We are finding ourselves severally limited in what the delivered RE reports supply as output options and increasingly frustrated by the limitation of export. We would like to connect with anyone that is the "reporting team" of their institution in order to trade workarounds and perhaps become a united front for product (reporting) enhancements to RE. We are a higher ed institution with 250K+ records and over 2,400 funds.

We are a PK-12 private school.  I'd be happy to share some ideas.  We haven't found the canned reports all that useful in RE.  Some organizations, we have made them work and some organizations, Crystal was imperative. We use a lot of Custom built Crystal Reports at The Blake School.  More so for long, detailed prospect profiles and reconciliation between RE and FE since we use soft credits so heaily here.


Also, if you post ideas of what kinds of reports you are interested in, you may get more responses on how to pull that information out of Raiser's Edge.

I'm happy to answer questions, discuss, advise.  Been working in schools for ummm... 20 years.  Lots of different reporting has been built on my end depending on the Development Director and the Board and Committees and what kind of info they wanted to see.  There are some canned reports that work for quick shots of info and then some more layered things.  We are here for you!
