Please add coupon code & open text box functionality to OLX event forms

We have events where we need to allow for general attendees to purchase their tickets online, but where we also give tickets to sponsors or high-level donors at no cost. We want to have all guests register their attendance and guest names through OLX, but want to be able to email or snail mail a special code that would "zero out" their ticket cost. We also need a more easily customizable menu of text fields where guests could give us their notes, such as "guest of Jane Doe" or "accesible seating required" that pertains specifically to the event in question but doesn't need to be permanently recorded in the constituent record.


Are these in development? Are there others who also need this functionality, and if so have you found a work around?

We need that often as well! I am surprised it hasn't come up for years! We have to create secret pages for every event, which leaves so much room for error every time we update the pages.

I have seen this come up a few times in the Community, but looking in the Idea Bank, I didn't see anything posted there, so I created one! Here it is - go and vote for it and force Blackbaud to take notice!


As for your text box idea, I feel like adding attributes would be a better way to go, just to keep everything standardized, but that's just me.
