Posting Batches using BBMS

Has anyone have problems posting batches using BBMS transactions that seem to lock up.  It seems every time we post a batch that has BBMS credit card transactions in them Raiser's Edge locks up.


If you have this occur can you please let me know if you have a fix for the problem

Awhile back I had had some intermittent problems with OLX gifts processing in Batch and not committing. The problem stemmed from a hidden column in the batch where something wasn't jiving properly -- receipt amount, event registration, etc. -- but I was never able to replicate it for Support to figure out the issue, and we haven't had it for awhile.

Thanks for the suggestions, I just checked and we do not have any hidden columns.

RE locks up for me when trying to complete a BBMS batch when the BBNC module is not closed. After Going through the processes on BBNC, a dialogue box opens and asks "Do you want to open the batch now?" If you say yes, BBNC will remain "open" and the batch will freeze everything. You must select No, close the BBNC transaction window, then go to batch once you've completed the transactions you need.

We are having the same problem and it only started recently.  We process the credit card in batch and then it freezes the system and closes the window.  We think it did not process because it closed but it actually does.  It doesn't happen with every batch that we do but it does happen at least three times a week.  I have not found the solution in knowledgebase so I will be opening up a ticket to see what the problem is.

Please let me know what you find out.  I know when it first started happening we contacted support and they could not figure out what was happening.

Yes please post an answer here when you find out because we also have started having this problem, which we never did before.  Is everyone who is having this problem on RE 7.95?  We are.  Thanks.

Is it locking up when you hit commit or when you actually process the cards? And do you get any messages when it happens?
