Luminate vs. Online Express

I am interested in learning from anyone who has dropped Luminate in favor of online express.


What problems did you encounter, specifically as it relates to monthly (recurring) gifts

We recently decided to run all of our events through Online Express instead of Luminate. Set up is easier in OE, but you do lose some of the customization options that LO offers. Initially, you need to be more strategic so you don't end up with endless gift or participant attributes or registration units. Also, setting up a report that provides all the information you need may take some time, but once you have it set up all you need to do is update the report with the new event or update a query/export. An added bonus of OE for me is that more information is brought over with the transaction in OE. Constituent name, event, and payment information are available on the same screen.
