LO-CRM Connector

Options
Just wondering if anyone else in the Community is using the Blackbaud Enterprise CRM --> Luminate Online connector.  We have had some challenges with inappropriate data modification and would like to compare notes with more experienced colleagues.  Thanks in advance.

  • We use LO and RE with the RELO connector - if this is similar to what you have let me know and we can certinaly discuss and compare notes.

    Thanks for your response.  I don't know if the RELO connector is configured in the same way as on CRM.  Our problems have to do with using existing audit tools in the CRM application and directly with SQL to determine when/what data is modified and by whom.

    We also use the BBCRM à LO connector and have significant
    challenges too. I’m curious as to what inappropriate data
    modifications you are seeing. Perhaps they are similar to what we
    face on a daily basis and perhaps if we band together, BB will fix
    their connector.

  • Hi Jennifer:
    I'm sorry that you are also having grief with the connector.
    With our initial CRM to LO synchronization we had many instances where primary flags for addresses, email, and phone were changed from a business address to a home address. Subsequent clean up and a connector "fix" were needed.
    After a global change to address info for deceased records the connector removed all deceased info from approx. 70 records.
    As you can imagine we are now proceeding tentatively with connector. The "out of the can" audit report on CRM is not effective for examining multiple records quickly. Blackbaud is still working on a full fix but it has been slow and painful. We are also seeing repetitive constituent demographic data exceptions and "invalid sender email" errors. Sorry for the barrage!
