Successful use of LO Events, and integrating with RE?

Has anyone had success with using Events in LO? We have set up a RSVP Event in LO for a 1,200-attendee no-cost-to-attend fundraising luncheon, and are having a tough time with the following:
  1. Does the event RSVPs show up anywhere in the Constituent's LO record? From what I can tell, it doesn't.
  2. Can you map fields (other than cross-referencing to an event in RE), for things like answers to the event questions (such as dietary preferences, etc.)?
  3. Has anyone figured out a good way to use the table captain model in this platform? We have 100+ table captains, and have found that -- due to a 255 character limit for drop-down menus -- the only way to list all of the table captains is in six different alphabetically arranged drop-down menus (we don't want a write-in, in case people get names wrong, or typos, etc.)
I'd love to hear about people's experiences with this module -- I have found it to be very limiting so far, but I wonder if there's a better way?

    Hi Lindsay,


    We have and used the events module and Luminate Online TR. We hosted a peer to peer fundraising event (a walk), and most of the information has synced with RE. Within the constituent record, there is the events tab. The event should sync over and within that, click the attributes tab. It may hold the information you're looking for. 


    For our free events, no peer to peer fundraising, we use the events module.
