How do we capture radio station call letters?

Some people might be interested in capturing from the donation forms and eComm checkout pages where the constituent is hearing our broadcast. This way you can pre-populated drop-downs indicating radio station call letters or other sources.

Solutions:

By utilizing the primary media code option when you edit your Cart, Checkout, Single Address Entry Pages. Enable the box for 'Ask for a primary media source code' then scroll down to the section for:

Primary media code prompt:

"If you learned about this offer through Radio, TV or Online, please indicate which.."

Choices for primary media code:

(they supply a list of radio stations in this box).

You can periodically maintain this box yourself but there is no way to use asp or xml to update this dynamically.

If you implement this field with manual drop-down data, the data is stored in the standard ecommerce reports as media_code_1 and media_code_2, and since these fields only appear within Ecommerce, only Ecommerce reports would contain this information.
