can we edit which columns of info are displayed when OLX gifts are processed?

Hello, folks--


I may not be stating this question correctly because I'm not the person who processes gifts. But here goes.


When OLX gifts are processed and transferred, there are many column headings we don't need--many blank fields. Our gift processors say that it's a pain to compress the empty columns in order to view the columns (e.g., comments from donors) we actually need to see.


Is there a way to customize which columns are displayed and thus to get rid of ones we don't need?


I hope this makes sense.

I'm assuming you're talking about once you're in the Batch.  When you select the transactions in OLX and click on [Bulk Processing] (I think that's what that button says), you get another window with 2 tabs.  At the top of the second tab, you can choose to create a Batch based on another Batch.  Select that option, and then select the Batch you want to use as a template (I believe you set up your template Batch first, as a Recurring Batch).  Your template Batch remains as-is, but your new OLX Batch will have the same fields, order, etc.


Unfortunately, you must do this every single time, there is no way to save this process setup.

The process you describe doesn't sound seamless, but it would be a definite improvement.

Hope it's working for you...even though it's not very seemless.  Definitely an area where OLX could use some improvement.    I haven't gone looking, but there are hopefully posts in the OLX Idea Bank regarding this.  If you find any, post the links back here so others of us can go add votes.
