how to test an event with paid ticket type

Is there a way to test the event registration process if it is a paid ticket event? I'd like to test the process all the way from start to finish, including the credit card transaction, without actually entering a real credit card number.

There's not really a great way to do this at this time.  Your best bet is to complete the registration with a credit card and then refund the transaction and cancel the RSVP after the checkout is complete.  It's a great suggestion for an enhancement and I've entered a request for our Product Managers to consider.
