Has anyone found a way to create a goal thermometer for a specific appeal or campaign?  If there's a way to generate it from within RE, that would be fabulous, but I'm also open to a free third party script generator that could be plugged into our website during our Phonathon.

I know of one in RE but it's really buried and not exportable.  Records > Appeal/Fund/Campaign (whichever you need) > View > Summaries >Fund Summary - enter any filters/criteria you want > Finish   Ta Da! You get a goal thermometer.  But like I said not too spectacular.  Not of much use.


Seaching BB site it looks like NetCommunity has a thermometer to show a constituents progress toward their individual goal. 


Would be a fun visual for your Phonathon - hope you can find another way to do it. Did see a number of options when I googled it - some to purchase, some using excel. Hope for some more replies from someone who has done it.

If you're just looking for...or can make do with...a static graphic, you can generate one at this website (for free).  I've used this for employee appeals in our internal eWeekly newsletter to show progress.  But it doesn't like to RE and isn't dynamic in any way.

Each Member drive for our radio station, we use an Online Express donation form and turn on the thermometer. During the drive, they only use this giving form and the thermometer works great! We use a query to get a total of off line gifts that have come in throug other sources and add the total in to the form so the whole total can show in one place.
