Registration with incorrect constituent

I registered online as a participant and as the team captain but the system saw me as Michael Stemen INSTEAD of Terry Williamson.  How do I now change to the correct person so that it shows on our webpage as Williamson Family - Team Captain- Terry Williamson AND how do I change it in the plugin to transfer the information to the correct Constituent Record?

I don't think there is a way to transfer a TR registration from one cons to another.


I would register the participant again using the correct constituent record. This can be done in the admin manage UI, so you can wave the registration fee.


Next the current (incorrect) captain needs to be replaced with the new correct record. This can be done right from the list of teams in the Team tab.


And finally the original incorrect registration record can be removed from TR. Make note of any gifts. Those will become event gifts when the incorrect record is removed, which can be soft-credited to the new registration.
