Data import into eTapestry HELP!

I am trying to import into eTapestry. I can get past the first two screens. But when I map the fields, I mark Account, Persona, and Email as check for Duplicates account. The program stalls and won't let me go to the preview files. I used to get a pop-up window that gave me a message of some sort. Now that has quit. It also had more fields and some of them were checked off for checking for duplicates, but it has changed. How do I get it to revert back? I can't see anything in setting anywhere.


The Family name format bar has the message: Import file does not have any accounts with the Family Name Format, the Business name format has the message: Import file does not have any accounts with the Business Name Format. In your tutorials, these fields go away when everything is mapped correctly. I have followed the instructions step by step. I was able to import 1 record earlier this morning, then I am trying to import about 15, but have hit a wall. I cannot get past the Map your import page and I am not getting any errors to tell me why!


I have worked with data conversions in a lot of different applications, but this one is a doozie. Bad instructions, really poor mapping functionality, no prompt that advise of appropriate errors when it won't go forward. I need help! I have to enter the same data in several databases and I am trying to streamline this process. So far, I am only frustrated. Please Help!

    I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with Import. It sounds like this would be best handled through chat support, which you can access anytime in eTapestry by clicking the question mark (?) icon and then Chat Now. You will log into Blackbaud.com (if you aren't already) and then there's a button to chat with eTapestry! They will ask you some troubleshooting questions to get to the bottom of the issue.
