Autoresponders for failed sustaining donation

1. How do you make a customized autoresponder the default autorespoder so that all when this specific autoresponder is set to default all of them will be changed? I am trying to avoid going through every single donation form and manually changing it.

2. Do you know of anywhere else in the system where a donor could get a "donor error" failed credit card email? A donor recieved a "dontaion error" saying their credit card donation could not be processed from us and I can't find this specific text in any of our autoresponders. I suppose I should file a support ticket, but thought I would post this first.

1) Edit the version of the AutoResponder in question in the Autoresponder Center (found under Setup) It will do exactly what you described.

2) That could be a Failed Sustaining Payment Notification used in Donations.

Thanks, I did this already and the one you can edit would be a customoized one not the default. How do you edit the default I see no option to edit the default.

I read that you cannont edit a convio site default autorepsonder, but I do recall that somewhere other than in the autoresponder center that you can make a specific autoresponder the default for all donation forms.

please does anyone have any idea what I am talking about, or am I just remembering this incorrectly
