Delete old accounts

Newbie here with Etapestry.  What are best practises for deleting old accounts?

    Never. If it has a name and an address (even an old address) it is data. If that person re-surfaces and you re-enter them, you are now missing the original data such as earlier communications, etc. Worse case scanario someone gives you this "new awesome prospect" and you can say they've been in your database for 10 years and have been solicited and receiving mail and have never given. May make them re-think how "awesome" they really are.

    I'm sorry -- but I need to delete the accounts of deceased people and those who have asked to be removed from our data base -- KEEPING THEM IS NOT AN OPTION!
